Residents of karu local government area will from Thursday be restricted within the area from the hours of 10:PM to 6AM to boost security in the area
This follows an imposition of curfew by the Honorable Chairman of karu Local Goverment James Thomas who made the announcement during an expanded peace and security meeting with all the security agencies in the council
James Thomas said it become imperative for the local government to take holistic approach to curb and checkmate security threat in the area.
He assured residents that the local government council would work tirelessly to ensure tight security in the area, considering its proximity to Abuja
He however said the curfew would begin from Thursday 11th August, 2022 at 10:pm to 6: am daily
This will restrict all movement of vehicle, closure of all Cinema, bar and joints, and all other activities in Karu Local Goverment Area.
